CNS Journal – Vol. 25, 2 (July 2014)

In Volume 25, Issue 2, we grieve over the loss of Chokwe Lumumba and Luis Nieves Falcon. The matter of our animalityand our animal relations is confronted, as the left seems still to have some troubles with it. There are disquisitions on Indigenous Peoples’ struggles and their ecosocial contents and on issues of value in capitalism. Other articles include critical forays into green policies and concepts, like REDD and virtual water, and into the making of fascist personalities through military and police training. Finally, we offer a debate over the approach of the “simpler way.”
